There are no refunds nor returns and all sales of courses and catalog items are final. In order to access the online course material it is the customer's responsibility to make sure they have the technology and, if necessary, the ability to seek tech support on their own. They have to make sure that their e-mail service will accept and does not block e-mails from drzur@drzur.com and orders@drzur.com. As the online courses are designed to be a 100% web-based courses, The Zur Institute office neither faxes nor snail mails nor sends e-mail attachments of any of the online course material. Please note that it does take a considerable amount of time to download a 2 megabyte course file (the files in the Spousal and Partner Abuse (7CE credit course) when using a 26K modem. It may be practically impossible to do so.
When using AOL as the browser, there have been problems reported with the Certificate of Completion appearing only as a blank document. If you switch to another browser (e.g., Safari or IE), you will have to retake the evaluation and post test, and then the Certificate of Completion should appear and print without difficulty. You may also need to allow POP-UPs in order to access the Certificate of Completion.
If you have lost your certificate of completion for any of The Zur Institute's online or home study courses or live workshops, there will be an extra fee for sending you a duplicate certificate/s. Allow 2 weeks from the time that we receive your request until the certificate/s is sent to you. If you did not succeed in accessing the online course certificate, please let us know, and we will e-mail it to you. Allow 2 weeks from the time of your request until the certificate is sent to you. If you request a duplicate certificate for an online course more than two month after the completion of the course or request the online course certificate to be faxed or mailed to you via snail mail, a fee will be assessed. Allow two weeks from the time that we receive you request until the certificate is sent to you. If you have registered for an online course and your registration did not go through for the second time, we will send you a link to the course after we manually enter your credit card. We will send you the link within one week from the time of your registration. If you have not received the automatically sent link to an online course or online product, please let us know and we will send it to you within one week from the time we receive your request.
It is illegal and unethical for anyone to receive more than one Certificate of Completion for each online course registration and to share with others any of the links or URLs to the evaluation, posttest or certificate web pages. These are only to be accessed by the person who paid and registered for the specific course and not by anyone else.
MCEP Reporting for California Psychologists
The Zur Institute's courses all meet the CA-BOP requirements. The Zur Institute is an APA approved sponsor and therefore cannot file with CA-MCEP on your behalf. You need to file with MCEP yourself simply by sending them their form, a copy of the certificate and the appropriate fee.
