Two (2) CE credits for Domestic Violence lecture
Seven (7) CE credits for Domestic Violence course
Six (6) CE credits for HIPAA Friendly course
Six (6) CE credits for To Dual or Not To Dual course
- The 2 CE Domestic Violence course/lecture fulfills the California Spousal and Partner Abuse requirement for psychologists.
- As of 1/1/05, all MFTs and LCSWs are required to take a 7 CE credit course to fulfill the CA Domestic Violence one-time requirement, by BBS.
- MFTs and LCSWs who renew in 2005 can take the 2 CE course if they complete it before 1/1/05.
- The 7 CE Domestic Violence course fulfills California's new Spousal and Partner Abuse requirement for psychologists by BOP and for MFTs and LCSWs by BBS.
- The 7 CE Domestic Violence, HIPAA and Dual Relationships courses fulfill Ethics & Law requirement by BOP for CA psychologists and by BBS for CA MFTs and LCSWs.
Psychologists: Ofer Zur, Ph.D. is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists. Dr. Zur maintains responsibility for his programs.
Psychologists in CA: You can take these courses in order to fulfill your CE requirements towards your license renewal with BOP-MCEPAA.
MFTs and Social Workers (LCSW) in CA: Each course meets the qualifications for 6 or 3 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS). (provider #PCE6)
NOTE: Many state boards have reciprocity with national accrediting organizations or other state boards. Please contact your licensing board regarding their policies on reciprocity and home study accreditation.
The provider maintains sole responsibility for the program and adheres to the above agencies' CE guidelines. No partial credit is available. Participants seeking CE credits must attend the entire workshop.
